I’m a Ph.D. Candidate at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I have also taught on the topics of the Philosophy of Religion, Ancient Greek philosophy, Early Modern philosophy and Political Ideology. My specialism is in Martin Heidegger and my thesis is on understanding his concept of freedom and how it relates to the task of the destruction of the history of ontology.
This blog is largely my attempt to communicate philosophy and apply the issues and techniques I encounter in philosophy to political issues. At least it is supposed to be; it’s usually more just an opportunity for me to get things off my chest!
