Film Reviews

Film Reviews with a philosophical and political spin. Sometimes I even like the films, but usually don’t. Who reads film reviews of films they like anyway? I occasionally like films, but usually ones that you’d hate, because I’m weird like that. Can you tell I’m just filling out this copy for SEO reasons? I mean, you probably won’t even read this, so there’s not even any point. But, my SEO plugin won’t turn green until I had more words here. Nevermind. I am actually very suspicious of whether or not this works, you know. If you can’t trust technology, though, who can you trust?

Robocop 2014: Freedom vs Technology

December 14, 2014 Matt 0

The Robocop reboot from earlier this year gave me faith that sci-fi isn’t dead. I expected a moody Nolan-esque remake, similar to the 2012 Dredd, that would […]

Film Review – Hannah Arendt – Philosophy and Harm

November 10, 2014 Matt 0

This review comes quite late, given that the film was released in 2012, but, despite the fact that Arendt is one of my favourite philosophers and […]
